Coconut oil and Beer

Sunday morning....hmmmm ...what to cook for breakfast? My kids with my husband in unison: ''Pancakes!'' Or in this part of the world they are called Crepes. And I use Coconut Oil for frying. Relative to other cooking oils, it creates minimal harmful by-products when heated. The oil smells coconut but when you cook the smell and the taste disappear. I haven't tried to use it in salads or in any other way for cooking, but I like to fry on it. Totally replaced butter and other frying oils I used to use.
Apparently the health benefits of coconut oil include hair care, skin care, stress relief, maintaining cholesterol levels, weight loss, increased immunity, proper digestion and metabolism, relief from kidney problems, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, HIV and cancer, dental care, and bone strength. Check here for more details. But as my further research showed that lots of it is under  a big Question.
On one of the discussion boards some one wrote: ''Coconut is also great for love making, its slippery and tastes great!!!!!!!!!!''  Hehehe

On the second note, as I mentioned I love experimenting. I cooked a semolina porridge my kids just love, and  it ran away and burned to the bottom. Thank God not all of it! I left it to soak overnight, scrubbed with sponges and brushes and some special scrachy thingy with special cream/paste and NADA. Then I remembered my trick to clean with Coca Cola, didn't have  as we don't drink it. What else? Soda! Check - finished grrr... Then I saw a beer, left over from the guests(as we don't drink it). And thought: it is gassy too, why not to try it! So as you can see from the pictures below it worked too! Hahaha

                                            Scrabadaba-dub with a brush
                                                          A bit more....
                                                                  And Voila !!

Great day everyone and lots of happy smiles!

kandee the make-up artist: How To Tweeze, Trim & Shape Eyebrows (for girls & ...

I just LOVE Kandee!! She is an INSPIRATION to sooo many people including me. She is a make up artist, mom to 4 kids and heart inspirer. Thanks to her videos and blogs I am a mama with a bit more style and glamour :)
As was told a few days ago by my husband's relatives I have not seen for about 2 years:'' Every time we see you you are more beautiful!'' . THANKS to Kandee! I have learned so much from her about make up.
This is one of my favourite videos of hers, how to shape eyebrows. Even some make up artist who were doing my make up for a photo sessions asked me how do I shape my eyebrows. Then my mama asked me to do hers, and then her friends asked me...
This tool is a must! As mentioned in the video and I do confirm that it's a life saver and I  have it in my purse. I bought my at Amazon.
Search Amazon.com for tinkleTINKLE Eyebrow, Neck or Face Razor (Quantity: 3 Razors)

Heart worming end to a crazy day

In the morning had to take my 4 year old to an eye A&E, at Moorfield Eye Hospital in Old st. in the City. She has different problems with her left eye since she was a baby. This time it's a cyst on her lower eye lid. It started oozing puss in the morning. Once in the hospital.. oh my... they had only one nurse and one doctor... and when it finely was our turn they got a real emergency. Some little boy had something in his eye... he was screaming so hard and for so long. His Mom came out of the room, she couldn't handle it- she was crying herself :(  God! I knew exactly what she was feeling! But.. I thought of coming over and telling her something, but then remembered myself in the similar  state and decided best just to live her. When I was like that with my younger daughter, and nurses or some other people were trying to tell me that it is Ok- No! It wasn't!! Or it will be Ok- How do you know?!  What you would have done?......... After an hour the boy came out and He was FINE! :) God bless him!                  And we saw the doctor and got an antibiotic to drink for a month- yuck! I am thinking of not giving it to her yet. Just because he wasn't going to prescribe it at first, but changed his mind at the end. My girl is so brave, doctors love her lol .......... After we left the hospital and were about to get on the bus, I've realised that V took my house keys out of the pocket! Arrgg... Had to go back in- but the keys were found.
After I dropped the kids at home to stay with their dad, I went to collect the cloths I bought on e-bay for K. It is second hand, 20 items, brands like: Next, M&S, Monsoon, H&M, Zara, OshKosh and others. K was so happy and was trying them on for 2 hours :)   If I were to buy all that new from the shop it would cost me around £300, but I've paid only £30 and she gave me an extra bag of t-shirts, niccee! Plus I got another huge bag of cloths 2 days ago from Freecycle.
Here are some dresses I think are super cute, I love OshKosh!

It was a bit messy evening with K(my older) acting up, but once she was in bed, and I sit on it and breastfeeding my 2.5 year old V was holding hands with K... was so peace full and sweet. My heart just swelled up with love watching them drifting to dream land in my arms...

First Post! Funny video with my baby :)

Hello!! That is my first post and I've been thinking all day about what to write!
And I have decided to post the video of my youngest playing with the kitten. It is very funny and will definitely put a smile on your face :)
The kitten in the video we saved from the stray dogs when we were staying in Greece 2 years ago. It was so skinny, frightened, hungry, weak and miserable! It was so fantastic to see it fatten up(put some meat on that bones and just blossom. And my kids and the Kitty became best friends, they were inseparable, the kitty would always sleep with the girls :)

Lots of Smiles and Laughter!
